Abstract
Background: The disability means a disordered relationship between person and environment, deteriorating personal, social life and causing lower ability and daily activity of life. Therefore this person needs education and necessary care to increase his or her ability . The aim of this studay was to determine home care standards in disabilities done by rehabilitation teams. Materials & Methods: The 43 physically disabled were selected by available sampling. The instrument data collection was questionnaire and 4 page check list and 8 group question classification. The data was collected in one stage and was used for analysis SPSS. Results : The findings was showed 81.4% disables were male with age average of 31.7 years, from all the education for standard home care was only 23.7% in sitting, 13.2% in standing,29.4% in urination, 37.5% in bowel habit , 42% in bed sore ,19% in diet control, 20.3% in awareness of optimum weight ,7.2% in spasm and pain the remainder had never received any education for standard care. Conclusion: we conclude that rehabilitation team action for disables home care was very poor. There fore it is recommended that a comprehensive standard home care program be prepared after a complete assessment and revision of the issue.
