Abstract
Background & Aim: stress is a force that incoming to person and affect on his (her) behavior. One kind of stress is job stress that can affects on employees. Generally job stress is one of the stresses that is related with job and its factors. This problem is the second factor of being absent in work place. Job environment and nursing itself are threatening factors that create stress in nurses Intensive care unit as CCU are wards that can create high stress in nurses. This research's aim was to determine stress level of CCU nurses in hospitals of east Guilan. With awareness stress level in them, we can present some methods for decrease or positive adaptation. Material and Methods: It was a descriptive cross sectional study. The population was all nurses employee in these CCU wards in hospitals of east Guilan wards. Sampling was census method (42) nurse. The instrument of data collection was the questionnaire of job stress (KARASEK). Responses scored to 4 item (always, often, sometimes, never) nurses completed questionnaires. Results: The results showed that the most of nurses (64/1%) had low stress level. There wasn't relation between sex and stress. There was significant relation between marriage and level of stress (p < strong><0.001) and also between age and level of stress.
Conclusion: Because job stress can threat physical and mental health in nurses and impact on energy decrease, burn out and absence in work place and this can companion with undesirable nurse performance, therefore with attention to factors that create this stress, we can plan for remove or decrease these factors. Collaboration expert nurse besides novice nurse and single nurse besides married nurse can aids to decrease stress in CCU.
